Changing the Order of Your Web Pages

Site options

The pages that you create are added to the menu bar of your website in the order that you create them, so it is a good idea to plan your website out ahead of time, and then enter your pages in the correct order. However, if you enter them out of order, or change your mind and want them in a different sequence, you can easily change the order.

To begin, log in to the website editor, and click on the "Site Options" button in the left panel of the editor (see left for example).

Change page order

The Site Builder menu will then come up.

1. Select the page you want to move.
Under Page Order you will see a list of the pages on your website. Click on the page that you want to move in order to select it.

2. Scroll to see all of the pages.
If the page you want to move is not visible in the box, click on the Scroll Up or Scroll Down buttons until you see the the page you want, and then click on it to select.

3. Move the page as required.
To move the page up, click the top Move Page Up button. Each click will move the selected page one position higher in the menu. To move the page down, click the bottom Move Page Down button. Each click will move the selected page one position lower in the menu.

When the pages are positioned as you want them, click the OK button to save the changes to your website.

You will receive a message (see below) saying "The files for the template will now be uploaded to your web site. Please note that this may take a few minutes and you should not close your web browser or navigate away from this page. Click OK to continue."

Upload Template

Click the OK button to confirm the change. When the upates are complete, you will receive a message (see below) saying "Your site options have been updated successfully. You will now be logged out to refresh the changes made to your site."

Site Saved

Click OK to complete the logout. You will then see a login screen, where you can log back in to your account if you have additional changes to make to your site.
